Basement...

We are making progress...if you call taking down the ceiling tile for half the basement progress. We also put some river rocks into the window well to make it look nicer as well. I don't think we will paint the window wells though.

Now the question is whether or not we want to take all the ceiling tile down and just drywall the entire ceiling. I have a feeling that is what will happen. However, there are a million staples left from taking the tiles down so now the real fun begins.

The Basement has begun!

We have finally started to work on getting the downstairs ready for two new rooms. First we cleared out the clutter and then cleaned the walls. After the walls, the window wells and windows were cleaned. Next up is the ceiling in which we will take the tiles out and the lights. We will also spruce up the window wells with some new rocks on the bottom, new paint and new well covers. Here are some pictures of the kids pitching in to help us.

Ice Skating

Diana and I took the family down to Lock 3 in downtown Akron where they have outdoor ice skating. It was really a great afternoon. The kids had a great time even though this was their first time skating (except for Hannah it was her second).

Here it is...the new bathroom.

We finally finished remodeling our bathroom. We did a complete makeover and it took about 2 weeks. Here are pictures of the finished product. Enjoy.
